How to Right Click in Macintosh OS X
On a standard Macintosh laptop trackpad, there is only one button used for clicking. This can sometimes be confusing to new Macintosh users. If you're used to Windows, you may be accustomed to a button for standard left-clicking as well as one for right-clicking. It is often helpful to separate these buttons so certain functions can be assigned to the left, and others to the right. Without right-clicking, knowledge of macros and hotkeys are required. Fortunately, there is a way to right-click on a Macintosh laptop using only two fingers and the trackpad.
Instructions

2
Type "System Preferences" in the text field that appears when the magnifying-glass icon is clicked.
-
-
3
Click "Keyboard and Mouse" under the Hardware section of System Preferences.
-
4
Click the Trackpad tab between the Keyboard and Bluetooth tabs.
-
5
Check the Secondary Click box under the Two Fingers section of the tab.
-
6
Close the window and return to the desktop.
-
7
Place two fingers apart from one another on the trackpad.
-
8
Click the button below the trackpad, while still leaving your two fingers on it. This should produce the same effect as a right-click.
Tips & Warnings
Be sure to put sufficient space between the two fingers on the trackpad so the pad does not register them as one finger.
Don't place more than two fingers on the trackpad at once, or the click will have no effect.
