Although the HP Color Inkjet CP1700 Series is no longer manufactured, many of these printers are still in use. Equipped with the appropriate ink cartridges, the HP Color Inkjet CP1700 series can produce approximately 1750 pages of ink before a replacement is needed. When this occurs, an LCD screen on the printer will display a message to indicate that the ink cartridge is running low. Because the CP1700 Series utilizes individual color ink cartridges, only the color that is empty will need to be replaced.
