How to Make Marshmallow Foam Halloween Bats

Marshmallow foam Halloween bats are the perfect craft for children who want to make their own Halloween decorations. These creepy critters made from marshmallow foam are small, and can be made in just a few short minutes.

Things You'll Need

• Marshmallow foam craft shapes
• Black craft paint
• Paintbrush
• 2 wiggly craft eyes
• 2 black pipe cleaners
• Glue
• Small magnet pieces (optional)
• Small craft pin backs (optional)
• Old newspapers or plastic

Instructions

1. Lay some old newspaper or plastic over your work surface to protect it from the paint you will be using.

2. Paint a marshmallow foam bat shape with black, and allow it to dry before moving to the next step. Be sure to cover every part of the foam shape.

3. Bend two pipe cleaners into the shape of bat wings. You will need one bat wing for each side of the marshmallow foam bat, and they should be about the same size and shape. 5. Glue two wiggly craft eyes to the front of your bat to give him a face.
