Things You'll Need:
- Microsoft Access
- A functioning database with data

Step 1
Select the "Query" tab from the Access database screen. You can also select "Queries" from the "Object" menu.

Double click "Create query in design view." This will open the query options.

Select the table in which you want to search for data.

Step 4
Choose the specific fields you want to search from the drop down menu that appears in the new screen.

Step 5
In the area marked "Criteria," you can input the actual search criteria you want for each entry. You can right-click on the Criteria box in order to bring up a list of possible variables. You can customize as many fields as you want.

Step 6
Save your query with the "Save" button in the top menu bar.

Step 7
Double click the query you just created in the "Objects" window in order to test and run it.

i want to find paintngs within price less than 2000dkr
i tried >= 1000 AND <= 4000 etc but it give me an error back" mismatch expression "
can any one help me and maybe give me the correct codes for more than and less than etc
