Go to the website, http://www.Slide.com. Find the link button that says, "Sign Up.. Click on this link to get started.

You will be taken to a page that asks for your email address and a password. Enter a valid email address, then choose a password you'll remember. Click "Sign Up." Read the terms and conditions if you have specific questions.

Next, you will be taken to the main dashboard. From this screen, you can set up a profile on Slide.com, or you can start making a slideshow.

Click on "Click Here to make your first slideshow."

You will start from the "My Slide" page. If you are not there yet, click on the "Make a Slide Show" link to begin.

You will be taken to a screen that says, "Add images from." Click on "UPLOAD your own Images," then "Browse." Select the pictures from your computer hard drive that you'd like to include in your slideshow. You can select multiple images by holding the "CNTRL" key while you click on the file names. When you've selected all the pictures you wish to use, click on "Insert".

The upload process may take a few minutes depending on your internet connection speed and the number of photos you've selected. Be patient and let the process complete before trying to continue.

Once the upload process is complete, you will see your pictures filling the black box at the top of the screen. Now it's time to make your slideshow pretty.

Choose a style, skin, theme and background for your show. Follow the directions on the screen to locate these options. Styles let you choose how your pictures will enter and exit the slideshow frame. Skins allow you to frame your slideshow like a picture frame. A themes gives you a bit of flair. Background refers to the default color on which all your pictures will appear. Click through these options to see how they look on your slideshow.

Add a song or video if you'd like. You can browse through the most popular picks or search for something special using the link provided under the song and video option.

Consider using the "Effects" function. This option offers all sorts of fun things like windows, ripples, tints and bevels. Try them all on for size and pick your favorite.

There are three sizes to choose from for your slideshow. The smallest will take up the least amount of space, but may be hard to view. The largest is easy to read and view, but may take a while to load on your page. Consider this before you select a certain size.

Scroll down until you can see thumbnail prints of all the images you uploaded. Here you can drag and drop the pictures if you want to change their order in the slideshow. You can also click on the space below each picture and type in a caption. If you want no captions, be sure to click "Clear Captions."
