How to Reuse Mesh Laundry Bags
-
1
Use them in the garden to find bulbs. When you want to find flower bulbs in your garden and take them out, it can be a problem trying to sort through the dirt little by little with your bare hands to find them and pick them out. Instead, open up the mesh laundry bag and shovel a pile of dirt into the bag. Close up the bag and slightly shake it over and over until all of the dirt falls out and you are left with bigger items that couldn’t fall through, including your flower bulbs.

Transform it into a backdrop for a collection of your beach treasures. If you don’t like the color, dye it to the color you would like. Take the cord out that closes the top of the bag and cut the sides of the bag so that you have one long piece of mesh. Hang it up on a wall anywhere that you please and trim it to your desired length. Take your beach treasures such as shells and attach them to the mesh.

Use it to collect your shells when you are at the beach. Instead of putting the shells into a regular bag where the sand will collect and get all over your home when you empty it out, you can put them into the mesh bag so the sand will fall right through and not collect.

Put pool toys in it to allow them to dry. When the toys get taken out of the pool and put on the ground or grass to dry, it collects dirt, bugs, and pieces of the grass which end up in the pool. Instead, put them in the bag to dry. Use the drawstring tie to hang it up so the water can drip down and the toys will stay clean in the process.

Tips & Warnings
If you are hanging the bag and it has items in it, make sure that it isn’t too heavy for whatever you are hanging it from.
Don’t put anything in the bag that can rip the mesh. As sturdy as the bag can be, it can still rip if a sharp item is put in it.
