Step 1
Log on to Medicinenet.com. This site is loaded with information and you may not know where to start. So to guide you easily through the site we will dissect each of the tabs running horizontally across the top of the page.

First you can type the name of the condition or disease in the search box. Second you can click on the letter of the alphabet that you believe the disease or condition begins with and look through the list. Lastly you can scroll down and search through the “common topics”.

Click on “Symptoms & Signs” to help you get an idea of some of the possible answers to problems you may be having. First choose the sex of the individual that is having the problem by clicking on the picture of the man or the woman. Next, click on the part of the body with the problem. You then will be directed to a list of more specific problems. Click on one. Another page will appear with possible causes.

Click on “Procedures & Tests” and look through the “Top twenty Procedures & Tests”. Looking for a specific procedure or test? Type in the name of it in to the search box and click “search”. This will give you an over all of how it is done.

Click on “Medications” to get information on one in particular. Type in the name of it in the search box or look through the most popular as you scroll down the page.
