Instructions

    • 1

Measure areas where new cloth material will be applied. Measurements don't have to be exact, but make sure not to underestimate.

    • 2

Cut the cloth material to fit the measurements. Lay the material over the area to be covered to make sure there is enough material.

    • 3

Spray the back of the material with the spray glue. Apply a light layer of spray glue to the actual area on the car.

    • 4

Allow the glue to dry for a few minutes. The glue should not be wet but should be tacky when it has dried enough.

    • 5

Apply the material to the part and press down firmly, smoothing any air pockets and wrinkles to the edges. Tuck the edges under plastic trim, or screw through the material if a screw is in the area.

Tips & Warnings

  • Material with patterns looks more customized and hides mistakes better than solid colored material.
