1
Pick a color scheme based on the colors of the outfit you have on that day. You can also pick your color scheme based on an upcoming holiday.
-
2
Use a thick rubber band as your base. This is the band that will go around your wrist.
-
-
3
Cut the rest of the bands you are using to create your color scheme. Just one slit is all you need to make the band a long string.
-
4
Slide your cut rubber band strings through the base rubber band and tie in knots. If the rubber bands are too long, you can cut the ends off. The knots together make a cool pattern going across the top of the wrist. If you don't like the knot look, you can tie the rubber bands in to a bow. You only need enough to go across the top of your wrist.

Tips & Warnings
You can also make a bracelet using one rubber band. Find a thick rubber band in white or a light color, and paint decorations on it.
Rubber bands can be tight. Make sure the rubber band is not so tight that you cut off the circulation to your hand.
Be careful that the rubber bands don't pull on the hairs on your arm.
