Spooktacular Marshmallow Mummy!

Spook out your Halloween party guests with these easy to make Halloween Marshmallow Mummy Treats!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 bag of large marshmallows
  • 1 bag of straight pretzel sticks
  • Fruit roll-ups, any flavor
  • Decorating Gel in White and Black
  1. Step 1

Take your pretzel sticks and push on 3 large marshmallows on each pretzel stick.

  2. Step 2

Unwrap a fruit roll-up but do not unroll it. Instead cut each fruit roll-up in half horizontally with either kitchen shears or a sharp knife.

  3. Step 3

After cutting your fruit roll-ups, unroll the strips and remove the paper backing.

  4. Step 4

Wrap 2 long fruit roll-up strips around each marshmallow body. Remember to make it resemble mummy wrappings and leave small areas of the marshmallow exposed in places.

  5. Step 5

Leave a larger portion on the top exposed for the mummy face and tuck in the ends of the fruit roll-up into itself in the back of each mummy to hold it in place.

  6. Step 6

Use the decorating gel to add dots for eyes and maybe a nose and/or a mouth.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use candy confetti "glued" in place with frosting or decorating gel. You can use stars for eyes, or use the round bits for eyes and place a star or other confetti shape.
  • Use your imagination and go wild!
  • Using different flavors of fruit roll-up for a color variation.
  • If you use the long pretzel sticks or add an extra stick on the he bottom you can push the pretzel ends into a cake for additional decorations.
