Dull hair always looks unhealthy, however there are times when that is true. There are great ways to add shine to your hair and to give it that healthy appearance. I will be sharing one method that has worked for me over and over again.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Pam olive oil spray (optional)
  • shower cap
  1. Step 1

First step is to add 5 tablespoons of olive oil to a bowl. Keep in mind that the amount may vary depending on length of the hair.

  2. Step 2

Cup hands into to bowl of olive oil and transfer to hair. Massage oil into hair from roots to tip. A second option is to spray the can of Pam olive oil throughout the hair from root to tip. Once complete also massage throughout the hair.

  3. Step 3

If hair is long wrap hair into a bun and cover with the plastic cap. Otherwise, just proceed to cover hair with a plastic cap. Leave on for a half hour.

  4. Step 4

After 30 minutes remove cap from hair. Then shampoo and condition hair as usual.

Tips & Warnings
  • 1. This treatment is also good from dry scalp. However, the only difference is that the application will only be on the scalp instead of the shaft of the hair.
