Wondering how to meditate and why meditation is required for spiritual growth? Do you wonder why people meditate and for what reasons? I will give you a few pointers to answer these questions.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A quiet place.
  1. Step 1

    Find a quiet place in your home so no noise is around. You do not want to be disturbed when attempting meditation.

  2. Step 2

    Close your eyes and concentrate on the region in between your eyebrows.

  3. Step 3

    Imagine an energy emitting there and pronounce the mantra, "OM". Do this several times a day and you should start feeling energy emmiting from your forehead in between you eyebrows.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sit in Lotus Position and sit up straight.
  • Don't concentrate! Focus on your forehead and don't give yourself a headache.

on 4/26/2009 One should not meditate on "Om" iniitally . It comes in the last stage . Wen you say "0m" it means that you are ready to leave everything . One has to do this only when he or she has finished all the duties in there life..
