How to Treat a Pimple

• Benzoyl Peroxide
• Patience

1. Apply a warm compress for approximately five minutes. When I say warm I don't mean scorching hot, but not lukewarm either.

2. Apply any over the counter medication containing benzoyl peroxide. If you don't have any acne spot cream try toothpaste instead. Just dab a little toothpaste (not the gel kind) directly on the pimple.

3. Walk away from your mirror and leave the pimple alone for as long as you possibly can. Or up to 2 hours before your date.

4. Reassess the situation by wiping the acne medication or toothpaste off. If the pimple looks ready to pop, meaning the white puss is clearly visible, go ahead and pop it applying as little pressure as possible so as to minimize swelling and scarring.

5. Cleanse your face and apply a moisturizing cream. Apply makeup as usual, putting a little extra cover up on the spot where the pimple that nearly ruined your night used to be.
