Step 1
Blogging.
Blogging is one of the easiest ways to make money from home, but it does take some time to see good results. Having multiple blogs is key. Another option would be to sign up for paid blogging sites which you will see in the resources section below. -
Step 2
Freelance Writing.
Freelance writing is another easy way to earn money from home. I would suggest picking up a Writer's Market book so that you know how and where to submit your work to. It's awesome and has been extremely helpful for me. It tells you where to submit your magazine queries or manuscripts to. -
Step 3
Crafts.
I know of 2 places where you can do crafts and make money from home. You do need to pay for a starter kit, but it contains instructions and supplies that you'll need and I have found both of the places to be legit. -
Step 4
Write Reviews.
There are a few sites out there where you can write reviews and make some extra money from home. I will also include them in the resources section below. -
Step 5
Sell on eBay or Craigslist.
If you have some household items you'd like to get rid of, try selling them! The only downside to eBay is that they have seller fees but they do get a HUGE amount of traffic. Craigslist is completely free to list items on. -
Step 6
Data Entry Work.
Never pay for data entry work! Check out Craigslist, Elance, Guru or Rent-a-coder to find some data entry jobs allowing you to work from home. -
Step 7
Put an ad in your Local Paper.
If you provide any type of service like craft projects, card making, scrapbooking, babysitting, yardwork, etc., post an ad in the paper. This will also help to make you some extra money from home.
