Instructions

    • 1

Place stinky purse in front of a fan on high speed for one hour. Rotate the purse every 15 minutes.

    • 2

With a damp paper towel, wipe the purse to remove any dirt.

    • 3

Place purse in the dryer but sitting on a drying rack so it doesn't get tossed around in the dryer.

    • 4

Let the dryer run on air only setting (no heat) for 1/2 hour.

    • 5

Open dryer and place two very damp paper towels onto the purse or on the dryer rack. Take masking tape and tape a dryer sheet to each one of the shelves inside the dryer (you're ultimately using 3-4 dryer sheets). If you skip this step the dryer sheets will stay in one place while the dryer tumbles.

    • 6

Now on extra low heat, let dryer run for 15 minutes.

    • 7

Remove purse, wipe again with a damp paper towel then slather with leather conditioner. Test a spot first to ensure it doesn't cause discoloration.

    • 8

Again, place two damp paper towels in dryer. Re-tape any dryer sheets that are astray.

    • 9

Place purse back on rack and let the dryer go on low heat again for another 15 minutes.

    • 10

Now on air only setting, let dryer run for 1/2 hour. If your purse doesn't smell anymore before this step, you can certainly skip this step.

    • 11

Slather with another layer of leather conditioner. Your purse should be good to go from here.

Tips & Warnings

  • always test a small spot on your purse to ensure no discoloration
