First gather your materials from the list. There are other things you may need, but these are the basics.

  2. Step 2
    WATER!
    WATER!

Prepare your skin for moisture. Take a bath or shower using warm NOT HOT water. Use the Sea Salt scrub all over body at least once a week, after as needed.

  3. Step 3
    SOCKS KEEP IN MOISTURE!
    SOCKS KEEP IN MOISTURE!

IMMEDIATELY after getting out of the shower or bath, slather on Cocoa butter, be sure to get the rough parts well. Once you do this, proceed to wrap your feet in plastic wrap and put on some heavy cotton or wool socks. This will help retain the moister. Do this nightly for the feet, or later as needed. They also sell mittens and gloves for the hands, this is a good idea to purchase, or you can use an old pair of winter gloves/mittens same routine, no plastic.

  4. Step 4
    BODY BUTTER FOR IN SHOWER

Another option is to buy an IN SHOWER MOISTURIZER, Lush sells them online and in their stores. If you have VERY dry skin, please invest in an in shower body butter. It is used in shower after washing.

  5. Step 5
    RAW SHEA BUTTER
    RAW SHEA BUTTER

Keep Shea Butter on hand to use during the day, it is less greasy than Cocoa Butter, but also a great moisturizer. It now comes in solid forms, lip balms, and in big tubs. Try to stay away from very commercial brands, as they have more perfume and gunk than pure raw Shea Butter.

Tips & Warnings
  • Not using water that is too hot is key!
  • Without scrubbing first, you are not getting to the freshest layer of skin available!
  • If Sea Salt is too harsh, opt for a almond scrub, or a rice scrub.
