Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer, Internet Connection, Phone
  1. Step 1

If you do not have Skype or would like to upgrade to the latest version you can download the program here: http://www.skype.com

  2. Step 2

Call forwarding is available for free with may of the calling plans, if you do not have a calling plan you will need to purchase Skype out credit.

  3. Step 3

The next step after signing up for a calling plan or purchasing Skype out credit is to login to the Skype program

  4. Step 4

Then from the menu at the top you go to Tools and then select Options

  5. Step 5

This will open a new window and on the left side of this window you will see options to configure the different functions of Skype. You want to select the Calls option notated by a green telephone symbol and then select Call Forwarding. From here you can enter any phone numbers that you’d like your Skype calls to be forwarded to if you are unable to answer the call or are logged out of the program. You can add more than 1 phone number by selecting add more phone numbers, this will create additional boxes where you can enter more phone numbers. One thing to note is that phone numbers in Skype must be preceded by a + for example:
    +12120000000

  6. Step 6

Once you’re done entering the phone numbers you want Skype to forward to just click save and you’re done. Your call forwarding should now be setup and enabled.
