How to Make a Halloween Ghost from Plastic Bags

Decorate for Halloween without spending a penny and use up some of those plastic grocery bags. These friendly ghosts can hang from tree branches, a doorway or the chandelier.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Three white or light colored plastic grocery bags
• String or yarn, about 12 inches
• Craft scissors

1. Trim the handles from all three bags.

2. Wad up two of the bags, making a more or less round shape.

3. Push them firmly into a corner of the third bag.

4. With the string, tie under the wadded up bags to make a head, leaving a tail to hang it by.

5. Trim the bottom to make it even.

• Use a marker to make eyes and mouth
• Use two bags for a sturdier ghost
• Hang out of the reach of small children or animals who may entangle themselves
