Cutting a selected images on photoshop and removing its background

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the Photoshop Application and open (Ctrl + o) the image you want to cut.

  2. Step 2

    Use the Magnifier Tool to zoom in your image to make it easy to see the image border. Or you can use the Navigator window on the right side of your Screen.

  3. Step 3

    Then right click on the the Lasso Tool and click the Polygonal Lasso Tool.

  4. Step 4

    Choose your cutting starting point on your images and start clicking on the border of the image you want to cut. If your already select the image, click again on your starting point to close the selection and then copy it by pressing Ctrl + C.

  5. Step 5

    Then, open a new document (Ctrl + N - dont care about the height and width cause photoshop will already set this depending on the images size you have copy on pressing Ctrl + C) and then paste it (Ctrl + V).

  6. Step 6

    Then before we save the image, lets remove the white background around our cut image. Go to the Layer window (Lower right of your screen and click on the "Background", hold it, then drag it on the "Trash" icon under it .
