Make a Teddy Bear Tuffet
Make a Teddy Bear Tuffet

This tuffet is easy to make. Even a child can do it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 felt squares (your choice of colors)
  • Yarn needle
  • 6-strand embroidery floss
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Ink pen
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

Determine how large you'd like your tuffet to be. I used a plastic lid as my template to make 9" circles. Use a cup, bowl, lid or pan to make your own circle template.

  2. Step 2

Place lid on wrong side of felt( I chose 2 different colors of felt to make my tuffet reversible). Trace around lid with ink pen.

  3. Step 3

    Cut circles out of felt.

  4. Step 4

    Layer circles wrong sides together.

  5. Step 5

With yarn needle and embroidery floss, whipstitch pieces together, leaving a 3" opening.

  6. Step 6

Stuff tuffet. Don't overstuff. You'll want your stuffed baby to be able to rest on your tuffet without falling off. Whipstitch opening closed.

  7. Step 7

    Enjoy!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Yarn needles are usually blunt, but it's best to supervise children if they will be making this project.
