Instructions

    • 1

In your pot take equal parts of sugar and water. (For example, 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water).

    • 2

Bring water and sugar to almost boiling or until the sugar is completely dissolved while stirring with spoon.

    • 3

Turn off stove and cool the sugar water completely. Once the water is cooled divide in as many bottles as you want using the ladle.

    • 4

In the bottles you will add one full bottle of food coloring of your choice and the extract of your choice. (For example, coconut extract and blue food coloring or strawberry extract and red food coloring).

    • 5

Cover your bottle and shake well so the color and the flavor will combine. Now you can shave some ice and add your syrup of choice for a cool treat on a hot summer day.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep your syrups in the refrigerator when not in use.

  • To add a little pizzazz to your snow cones add some chile powder, pickles, or kool aid.

  • be careful if handling the hot water mixture.
