You are in a relationship that seems to have lost its spark or maybe your spouse is giving you the consistent cold shoulder. This article will give you a few things to look for to help determine if your spouse is cheating.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Your spouse has recently started spending more time than usual with a new friend of the opposite sex or an old friend that hasn't been around for a while.

  2. Step 2

Your spouse is on the computer a lot on various chat programs but will not let you see what she is typing or just happens to close out the program consistently when you come by.

  3. Step 3

Your spouse receives an unusual amount of text messages from a member of the opposite sex that is not a relative.

  4. Step 4

You introduce your spouse to someone and they look at your spouse and ask about a different member of the opposite sex.

  5. Step 5

Your spouse has regular plans or lunches with a particular member of the opposite sex.

  6. Step 6

You find regular calls from an unknown number on your phone or cell phone bill.

  7. Step 7

Your spouse has unusual gifts of a potentially romantic nature that you didn't buy.

  8. Step 8

You find items that are clearly those of a member of the opposite sex that you know are not yours.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are truly concerned that your spouse is cheating, you may want to hire the services of a private investigator or other professional.
  • You may want to see relationship or marriage counseling if you think things are moving this direction and you want to save your marriage.
  • Don't automatically assume cheating in certain instances. Watch for regular patterns of behavior.
  • Don't confront your spouse unless you have evidence to back it up.
