Have you ever wanted to go to a tattoo convention to get a tattoo? This will explain what you need to do to prepare yourself to get tattooed at a Tattoo Convention.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • an idea of what you want to get tattooed
  • reference (picture, rough sketch, anything that will help the artist create your tattoo)
  • money
  1. Step 1

Find the artist who will be doing your tattoo:
You want to take a look around at the artists' portfolio, don't rush into a decision. Look at the style of work they do. Is it something you find appealing? chances are if you don't like the work in the portfolio the artist will not complete the work in a manner which you will like.

  2. Step 2

    Talk about your tattoo/design:
Now that you have found the person that you would like to do the tattoo, it's time to show them the idea/design. It is best to bring reference with you, this will save time with the whole drawing up process. Discuss what your expectations are for the tattoo, and be specific if there is something you must have in the tattoo. Sometimes what we see in our "heads" will not work as a tattoo. The artist will have suggestions on what will be best for the tattoo.

  3. Step 3

    Getting the tattoo:
Once the drawing is done, take a good look at it, make sure that it is what you want. Don't be afraid to ask for changes; you have to wear this tattoo for a long time. And if everything is in place, go and enjoy the experience of getting the tattoo.

Tips & Warnings
  • Go to the Convnetion early if you plan on getting tattooed that day.
