How to Make a New Orleans Hand Grenade Cocktail

If you'd like to recreate a night of carousing on Bourbon Street, throw a Mardi Gras party or just enjoy some New Orleans-style fun at home, you can make a hand grenade cocktail yourself with ingredients found at any liquor store. Things You'll Need

  • 1.5 oz rum
  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 1.5 oz melon liqueur
  • 1.5 oz everclear
  • sugar to taste
  • ice
  • highball glass

      Fill shaker with ice. Pour in rum, gin, vodka, melon liqueur and everclear. Add sugar to taste.

Tips & Warnings

  • This drink is also great with 1.5 oz of pineapple juice. Add the juice to the shaker with the alcohol and ice, but omit the sugar.
