The Shuffle is a very inexpensive iPod. It has no screen and starts at $49 dollars.

The Nano is more expensive. It has a screen and you can watch video on it. It starts at $150 dollars.

The Shuffle is the beginner's iPod. You can't tell which song is next or which album you are listening to because there is no screen. Because of it's small size you will need to refresh it often with new music.
The Shuffle's biggest advantage is that it is tiny, and can be used for running. It's biggest weakness is that it doesn't have a screen. -
Step 4
Buy a Nano if you want an iPod with a screen and more storage. These iPods cost more than the Shuffle, and are slightly less durable.
