How to make a temporary microphone stand for your condenser microphone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A empty, clean, dry, coffee mug.
  • Paper towels
  1. Step 1

Put the empty, clean, dry coffee mug on your desk.

  2. Step 2

Stuff about five folded paper towels into the mug.

  3. Step 3

Put your condenser microphone (and the cord) into that cocoon of paper towels.

  4. Step 4

If done correctly, the microphone will stay upright. Make sure the microphone is snug and doesn't wobble. Put some more paper towels around the edges if this happens.

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy a real one in a store or online when you can afford it. They are fairly cheap.
