Learn the pirate lingo.To talk like a pirate first of all, you is ye and me is my or mine. Those are easy ones. The best way to learn the pirate language is to practice it. Watch Pirates of the Caribbean or a similar movie with a pirate theme. You can look up meaning of words or phrases on the internet and there are lots of sites to help you with this. Practice the Pirate Lingo!Practice paragraph with interpretation:
Aye, how be you Aye. Ahoy, what have you been up t' Ye'll ne'er get me buried booty! Arrr, whars the ship Aye.
Ahoy, me see the ship Aye, me parrot concurs. Arrr, do you have the treasure map?
Aye, lets get on the ship Gar, Where can I find a bottle o'rum?
Translation: How are you? What have you been up to? Where's the ship? There's the ship! Do you have the treasure Map? Lets get on the ship & find a bottle of rum. Have fun and learn to talk like a pirate.
