If you travel you will always see Buzzards on the side on the road way cleaning up from the night shift. We have a lot of folks bring in their cars because they hit a Buzzard.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Awareness
  • Foot control
  1. Step 1

Know that if you are traveling at a high rate of speed and you spot vultures on the side of the road, they will not always get out of your way. No matter how much you scream at them. We have several a month come into the shop for a new windshield. Their first statement is "I thought that they would get out of my way." My first question is "I need to see your Buzzard Licence."

  2. Step 2

Like traveling at night dodging deer, you have to respect the Buzzards during the day. They will fly into your path at the last second with out warning. Owls and Hawks are not as easy to avoid, they will sometimes fly into your path deeming you helpless.

  3. Step 3

My suggestion is, pay attention to these animals, slow down for them. Sometimes we get in such a rush that we are oblivious to our surrounding.

  4. Step 4

Depending on your comprehensive Insurance coverage, most of the time you will pay the whole ticket. Your deductible will not cover the price of a windshield. You can have this coverage for a few dollars more per year. I hope this helps you in the future.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be safe
  • Watch for road hazards
  • Speed Kills, animals or yourself.
