Things You'll Need:
- Acid Based Cleaner from a big box store.
- Course bristle brush.
- Time
- Elbow Grease
-
Step 1
Purchase an acid based concrete cleaner from your local Masonry or Big Box Store, such as Lowes, or Home Depot. Follow the directions CAREFULLY. DO NOT TOUCH THE SOLUTION WITH YOUR BARE HANDS.
-
Step 2
Use a scrub brush, preferably with a handle, and give a good scrub over effected area's.
-
Step 3
Rinse. Repeat if necessary.
-
Step 4
Seal the brick! It's not easy to clean brick, is it? By the time you're ready to seal your brick, you'll be exhausted, but DO IT ANYWAY. Save yourself!
Use any concrete sealer, and pick it up at the same time you pick up your acid based wash.
It will save you in the long run; and your bricks will stay clean.
