Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet
- Time
- Knowledge
- Research skills
-
Step 1
Set up your eHow account and sign up for the Writers Compensation program. You'll need a PayPal account to receive your eHow payment each month that you make payout.
-
Step 2
Research keywords in the niche topics you like to write about, or are knowledgeable in. Consider your hobbies, occupation, training and education to get ideas. Then, use keyword research tools such as the Google Adsense Keyword Suggestion tool and Wordtracker to come up with the best keyword combinations.
-
Step 3
Write one article per keyword combination. Heavily searched topics may warrant several articles on virtually identical topics but different keywords; for example, "hybrid vehicles" and "hybrid cars." For variety, you could title these articles "How to Shop for Hybrid Vehicles" and "How to Use Hybrid Cars."
-
Step 4
Use your keywords in the title, first sentence, and in one or two steps. Don't use them excessively, but make sure they are sprinkled into your article.
-
Step 5
Continue writing eHow articles each week, search the huge eHow library to make sure the topic is unique. Duplicate articles (same keywords but a different perspective) generally don't perform well.
-
Step 6
Check on your earnings every week to see which articles are doing best. Realize that it may take several months for your articles to perform well.
