Step 1
Use face paint to turn yourself or your child into anything your imagination dictates--a wild animal, a friendly kitten, a clown. Use clothes and fabric you have on hand to round out the accompanying costume. Hats are great for Halloween costumes so put one on... a la cat in the hat.
-
Step 2
Use a toy crown or dress up items to make a simple Halloween costume. Envision a king, queen, prince or princess ... good or evil, you decide. Dark clothes and makeup will make the character more spooky than light colors and a pretty, cheerful smile.
-
Step 3
Use leftover mardi gras masks or costume pieces to form a fun Halloween costume that's quick and easy. A bird mask, mardi gras beads and a funky hat will keep people guessing as to what, exactly, you are.
-
Step 4
Use Groucho glasses, funky clothes and yes, you guessed it, a dark hat to be an undercover disguise.
