Are you out of Bloody Mary mix? Or, do you just not care for any mix out there? This is a home made recipe for a delicious Bloody Mary.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your choice of Vodka
  • Tomato Juice
  • Worchestershire
  • Hot Sauce
  • Lemon Juice
  • Tony Cachere's (optional)
  1. Step 1

I prefer to mix mine in a blender. It makes for the best blend. Plus, you can make it in bulk this way. However, today's recipe is for a single drink. Start with 1 cup to 2 cups of tomato juice. I generally use Spicy V8. Before adding in your alcohol, add in all your liquid ingredients to taste. Usually for one glass it only takes 1-2 tsp. of each. Depending on how tall your glass.

  2. Step 2

Now, prepare your glass. In a bowl, add about a table spoon of lemon juice. In a small platter, pour about 2 tablespoons of Tony Cachere's. You could also use Sea Salt, much like that used for Margarita's. Again this is optional. Place the rim of your glass in the lemon juice and then place it in the seasoning. This will get you a nice coat of seasoning around the rim, for not only decoration, but also great taste.

  3. Step 3

In the glass add a couple cubes of ice. You may choose crushed ice. Add a single shot of Vodka. Carefully pour in the juice mixture, so as not to disturb the seasoning on the rim. Stir with a swizzle stick, or a celery stalk. Serve with celery stalk, and a tooth pick with Green Olives. Unless you prefer some other garnish.

    Sit back and enjoy!
