It can get very expensive to purchase textbooks for school when you are a student. They sometimes cost as much as $100 or more per book. They can be found in a number of places online and purchased for ¾ or even half the price than they are at your typical college bookstore. Here are some places to look.

1. Amazon.com is a site where students and bookstores buy and sell used textbooks. You can get really great deals here.

2. Swapbooks.com is a place where buyers and sellers are matched up to get the best deals.

3. At eCampus.com students can post books they want to sell and books they need to buy with preferred prices.

4. Classbook.com will give students prizes and incentives for selling a certain amount, and also offer electronic textbooks.

Tips & Warnings

• If you need the book quickly, pay a little more for expedited shipping.
• Sometimes used books will be pretty worn. If you are concerned, ask the seller before you buy.
