Since ear piercings heal quickly, they are great first piercings for people who never had a piercing before

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cotton Balls
  • Gloves
  • A Sharp Needle
  • Sanitizing Wipe or Rubbing Alcohol
  • Sea Salt Mixed With Warm Water
  • Earrings
  1. Step 1

Go out to the store and buy a new never before used needle, gloves, Sea Salt, rubbing alcohol, and cotton balls.

  2. Step 2

Pour rubbing alcohol onto a cotton ball and rub onto your ear lobe let it air dry. Now I just use rubbing alcohol on the needle and let it air dry and put on gloves.

  3. Step 3

Now look into the mirror and decide where you want to pierce and when you decided gently pull down on the ear lobe and stick the needle through the ear.

  4. Step 4

Place the earring through the hole. Mix sea salt with warm water and with a cotton ball rub onto the pierced area. Be sure to do this often through out the day for at least two weeks.

on 11/15/2009 No! Alcohol will not sterilize a needle. You need to buy a sterile piercing needle and sterile jewelry to do this yourself.
