This Mexican CornBread Recipe makes a great meal for the whole family.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Jalapeno Pepper or 1 Can Chopped Creen Chilis
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 2 Cups Cream Style Corn
  • 2/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 Small Package Cornbread Mix
  • 2 Cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
  1. Step 1

    Preheat Oven to 350F

  2. Step 2

    Brown meat until crumbly & drain

  3. Step 3

    Add onion & papper & set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Combine eggs (beaten), 1 cup corn, & milk with cornbread mix.

  5. Step 5

    Pour 1/2 the batter into greased 9" square pan.

  6. Step 6

    Top with beef mixture, cheese, and remaining cornbread and stir.

  7. Step 7

    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
