These small decorated trees look great in a guest bathroom or other areas in your home that needs just a touch of Christmas. If you prefer a different color tree - IE: green - look for different color strands of beads.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Styrofoam Cone, 12" (Different size cones may be used) Acrylic craft paint, red (match color to the color of beads) Bead garland, dark red Silk leaves (optional) Moss Floral wire (or u-shape
  1. Step 1

Paint the styrofoam cone and allow to dry completely

  2. Step 2

Cut the floral wire into 3” lengths and bend into a u-shape. (Skip this step if you’re using floral pins.)

  3. Step 3

Beginning at the bottom of the cone, glue garland around the cone using a low temp glue gun. Insert the floral pins or wire occasionally into the cone between the beads for extra hold. Continue this until the entire cone is covered.

  4. Step 4

Insert little pieces of the moss into any gaps between the beads. Glue silk leaves around the bottom of the cone.

  5. Step 5

Glue a cardinal or a bow on top.

Tips & Warnings
  • Other items can be used as a small tree topper - an angel, a musical instrument, etc.
  • Wire ribbon will keep the shape of the bow
