Westwood, California is a city in West Los Angeles near Bel Air and Beverly Hills. These include historic movie theaters, various restraunts, museums and even a brewhouse.

Instructions

    • 1

See a movie at the Fox Village Movie Theater. This movie theater only has one screen but has been the site of many famous premier screenings and still is to this day.

    • 3

Visit Westwood Village. This shopping area that neighbors the UCLA campus offers various shopping and dining experiences that range from affordable to expensive (but classy).

Visit the W Hotel. This high end hotel not only offers a beautiful lobby but a fantastic restaurant that is open to everyone.

    • 5

Visit the Hammer Museum near the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and Westwood Blvd. Here you can find a collection of contemporary work and one of the largest collections of drawings and sketchings from ninteenth century French satirist Honore Daumier.

    • 6

Visit the Westwood Brew Co. or O'Hara's Irish Pub at night to imbibe in a pint of beer and to hang out with the locals. Additionally, these two places also serve a full menu and offer large television screens to watch your favorite sports team. In particular, these places prove to be great environments to watch UCLA Bruin sporting events.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are currently a student in high school or any college it is a good idea to bring your school ID. Since Westwood is a college community, most restaurants and shops offer discounts to students.
