Upon finishing the program, you will receive your certification. Being registered legitimizes your capabilities as a wedding planner to your potential customers. You can place certified wedding planner in your advertisements to encourage people to call you.

3. Develop a good relationship with florists and photographers in San Francisco. This is extremely helpful to you since you can recommend these companies to your customers while they can do the same for you. You can also provide discounts with the florist or photographer that will encourage customers to use your services.

4. Attend seminars and take home study courses. These are offered through Association for Wedding Pofessionals International and Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultant. Once you attend a seminar or study a course ,then the website of either association will list you as a member, which will give you free advertisement.

5. Advertise and create a website. Creating a website will reach more clients than in just the immediate area, whereas advertising in local newspapers and creating pamphlets will reach mostly San Francisco residents.
