Turn this into a punch bowl!

The pumpkin is used for many things around Halloween like decorations, eating, and carving, but for those people who like to entertain guests, you can do it with an easy-to-make pumpkin punch bowl.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Knife
  • Plastic bowl
  • Pumpkin
  • Serving spoon
  • Paper towels
  1. Step 1

Find a large and wide pumpkin. If a pumpkin is too skinny, it may be harder to reach in and get punch from.

  2. Step 2

Cut a large opening in the top of the pumpkin using a knife. Make this opening as big as possible so that the punch bowl will hold plenty of punch.

  3. Step 3

Discard the top of the pumpkin and all of the insides. Make sure that the inside is as clean as possible so nothing accidentally falls into the punch bowl.

  4. Step 4

Use the knife to carve a face into the front of the pumpkin. You can also use the front or the back to carve something like the punch if you would like.

  5. Step 5

Place a large, plastic bowl inside of the pumpkin. You will want this bowl to fit as tightly as possible so it does not move around a lot in the pumpkin. Stuff paper towels around the bowl to make sure that it is tight and secure in the pumpkin.

  6. Step 6

Pour the punch into the bowl and serve. You can also add more decorations to the pumpkin if you would like, such as glitter glue, paints or makers.

Tips & Warnings
  • Instead of discarding the top with the stem, set it up right next to the pumpkin punch bowl and use it to hold your cups.
