Go to the Rome Zoo (Bioparco). Another break from historical ruins is the delightful Bioparco, Rome's premier zoo. If you want to see bears, monkeys, lions and tigers amidst touring this vast city, the Rome Zoo is the perfect place for you. This is a serene and pleasant place to relax and look at some animals in the middle of a day of heavy sightseeing. Children will particularly enjoy Bioparco.
