How to Sync Music Videos to an iPod

Newer iPod models are capable of playing music videos in addition to music and movies, but first, you have to sync them onto your iPod. Just follow these steps to sync music videos to your iPod and turn it in to your personal traveling MTV player.

Instructions

1. Connect your iPod to your computer using the connector cable.

2. Launch iTunes if it isn’t already open.

3. Choose your iPod in the left menu under “Devices.”

4. Select the “Music” tab in the main window in iTunes.

5. Scroll down to the bottom.

6. Select the option “Include Music Videos.” It is the second from the bottom.

7. Click “Apply” in the right corner of iTunes.

8. Eject your iPod from iTunes.

9. Disconnect your iPod from your computer. Your music videos should now be synced up to your iPod.

Tips & Warnings

• If you only want to sync specific music videos to your iPod, create a playlist with everything you want to put on your iPod. Then, when syncing your iPod, select only that playlist.
