Business cards have become a standard for any professional. With business cards available, you will have an easier time handing out your information to people. With VistaPrint, it is simple to save time and money creating high-quality business cards.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to VistaPrint and create an account. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes. Double-check your information to verify that the information is correct. You do not want your products to end up at a different location.

  2. Step 2

Now it's time to get started. You have a few options when creating business cards with VistaPrint. You can design your own cards, choose a template, upload your own design, or have a VistaPrint professional create a design for you. If you choose the last option, it costs quite a bit more.

  3. Step 3

Choose a template to work with for the fastest and easiest option. You have many designs to choose from. Simply search by industry or style. If the colors are not to your liking, but you like the design, you might be able to change the color palette when you edit the card information.

  4. Step 4

Build your own card designs through the VistaPrint website. You have the option of uploading your own logo or image, searching through their images, or not using a graphic at all. After you choose that, you can choose the layout and colors.

  5. Step 5

Upload your own design, if you have one. This option is best if you want more freedom with the designs and colors.

  6. Step 6

After you pick the design for your card, it is time to customize it further. You must fill out the information. VistaPrint has a ready-made form that you fill out. All you have to do is fill in the necessary information and it will appear on the card design on the right-hand side of the window. If, for some reason, you do not like where the text boxes are placed on the card, you can change it around in the "Advanced Editing" feature.

  7. Step 7

Finalize your design. Double-check the spelling and information to make sure it is correct. If you are sure that the information is perfect, you just have to initial at the bottom to approve the design.

  8. Step 8

Choose the quantity. The amount of business cards you order is up to you. You will be brought to a page that requires you to choose the quantity. The prices are listed along with it.

  9. Step 9

Choose the paper stock. Depending on the card, you will have a few options. It is set to matte paper, but if you choose a different stock, you will have to pay extra.

  10. Step 10

Design the back. There are quite a few options to choose from. You can leave the back side blank, add a calendar, appointment settings, and much more. The default is set to blank for premium cards.

  11. Step 11

Go through the rest of the checkout process. You will get offers for matching products, accessories, and other items. You do not have to purchase these. When you get to your cart, you will see your card design. Continue on. Fill out the shipping and payment information. Once your order is approved, you will get an email. Look for your order in the mail.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can upload your company logo to make it customized to your specific business.
  • Don't forget to check out the vertical business cards. VistaPrint automatically sets the default for horizontal. You will have more options if you look at both layouts.
  • For simple reordering, save your card design to your profile and you can access it easily at a later time.
