How to Practice Face Reading

Face reading is an ancient practice that supposedly allows you to get a reliable estimate of people's personalities simply based on the structures of their faces. Acquiring the knowledge of the basics behind face reading is simple enough and can be learned in books or online.

Instructions

1. Learn the basics of face reading (see Resources below). You won't have much luck with your practice if you don't know what to look for. There is a definite method behind face reading, and it isn't something that you can leave to sheer guesses and speculation.

2. Set time aside to practice face reading. As you become more adept at face reading, you will be able to read someone's face with a quick glance, but in the initial phases of learning face reading, you should really take the time to concentrate on the basics. It's important to have time to practice this skill because without practice you can't hope to increase your skill level in face reading.

3. Practice face reading with photographs of people. You can use magazines photos or pictures of people online, but try to find photos of people whom you do not have any knowledge of initially. The reason for this is because you don't want your knowledge of the person to sway your analysis. For example, if a certain celebrity is known for being stubborn, you may tend to look for stubborn features on the person in a photograph instead of just looking at the features and doing your reading.

4. Start reading the faces of live people once you feel comfortable with face reading. Begin with people who you already know. Even though you will already know their personality traits, these folks will be good practice and will be less likely to feel uncomfortable with you practicing on them. Try not to look for traits you already know they have but to instead start from the beginning with the facial features and do your reading with this information.

5. When you are ready, start reading the faces of strangers. You may become bold enough to approach strangers and spark up a conversation just so you can do your face reading. Whether or not you reveal that you are doing a face reading is up to you, but the important thing is to keep practicing until you have perfected your analysis technique.

• Face reading may be difficult at first, but this is one thing that will surely get easier with practice.

• Some people will compare face reading to occult practices and will not want you to conduct a facial analysis.
