How to Make Bird's Nest Place Holders
These bird's nest place holders are a great way to decorate your table for Easter or any springtime event. They mark the place settings for all of your guests, while making interesting conversation pieces. Vary the colors of the birds and eggs to create a look designed especially for your party.
Things You'll Need
- Card stock
- Scissors
- Pen
- Small craft bird nests
- Spanish moss
- Speckled plastic easter eggs
- Faux birds
- Hot glue gun and glue stick

Cut card stock into 1/2-inch by 1-inch pieces. Write the name of one guest on each card.

Grab a small pinch of spanish moss and add one drop of hot glue to the bottom of the moss and place it at the base of each nest.

Apply two drops of hot glue to the bottom of three small eggs and place them into the nest on top of the spanish moss.

Apply five drops of hot glue to the bottom of a faux bird and stick the bird on one side of the nest.

Place the small name cards on the opposite side of the nest, allow them to set neatly and freely on the nest.

Place the bird's nest place holders in front of the place settings where each guest will be sitting.

Use real bird's nests if you can find them.
Use caution when using a hot glue gun, to prevent burns.
