How to Buy Traffic Cones

Traffic cones are something most drivers see day to day. They are often used to tell us where construction begins or ends and often where we can or cannot go. However, traffic cones can also be used by private citizens as well for any number of reasons. You may wish to use them in order to help teach someone to drive, build a small obstacle course, or even to mark off places. Whatever the reason, traffic cones are actually very easy to find and inexpensive to buy.

Instructions

1. Go to your local hardware store.

2. Ask an associate if they carry traffic cones. Most hardware stores do; however, it sometimes depends on where you live.

3. Buy as many as you need.

4. Go online, if you cannot find traffic cones in your local hardware store. Home Depot sells them online, but doesn't necessarily carry them in every store. So you may need to simply buy them online.

Tips & Warnings

• Traffic cones are very inexpensive, so purchasing them is usually a better alternative than trying to find someplace that gives them away. Some traffic schools and even construction companies do give away slightly damaged ones, but you're better off just purchasing new ones.
