Opening and creating documents are only a few tasks performed on a daily basis. One of the most common forms of transferring these important documents across the Internet is converting them into a PDF. This easily allows you to make sure that no unauthorized changes have been made to the document or only certain values can be entered. With some PDF's, there are multiple images that accompany the written text. Usually, saving these images can be done by copying and pasting them. However, there are simpler ways of getting this done. With a few suggestions, you'll learn how to get images from a PDF with PDF Image Extract.

From Quick Guide: PDF Software Guide
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • PDF
  • PDF Image Extract
  • Images
  • Hard drive space
  1. Step 1

Download and install PDF Image Extract to your current computer system. Depending on your Internet connection speed, it should only take a few minutes to complete the entire process. Click the "Next" button to move through the installation guide of PDF Image Extract. If you would like to create desktop and quick launch icons, then leave the available boxes checked during the installation steps.

  2. Step 2

Launch the PDF Image Extract tool by clicking the "Desktop" icon or going through the listed programs in your "Start" menu. Within a few seconds, the application will quickly open for you to start extracting the desired images. Instead of wasting your valuable time with copying and pasting images, you'll have access to a tool that will instantly grab the images you want.

  3. Step 3

Create a specific folder on your computer system before your extraction process. Doing this will make it much easier to locate the images for later viewing. You can easily do this by opening your "Documents" folder and right clicking an empty space. Select the "New" option and then click the "Folder" link. You'll have a brand new folder to hold all of your extracted images from a PDF.

  4. Step 4

Click the first folder icon listed in the middle of the PDF Image Extract application. It will open a location on your computer system. If this is not where your file is located, then select the up arrow key to navigate to the right area. Select the correct PDF by clicking on it. After doing this it will appear in the top area of the PDF Image Extract application.

  5. Step 5

Select the round button with an arrow in the center. It is located at the bottom left of the application. As soon as you click this button, it will start the image extraction process for you. If for some reason you need to stop, then click the round button with a red dot in the center. This will pause the extraction process until you are ready to start again. Every single image that is located in your PDF will be successfully extracted to your chosen folder.
