How to Make Halloween Candy Wrapper Buckets

This easy Halloween project will be the talk of the party. Depending on the candy wrappers you use, these buckets will be too pretty to put away after passing out the last of the candy. They can be used to hold miscellaneous items such as crayons, markers or even flowers. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Matte medium acrylic-based adhesive
  • Tin paint bucket
  • Candy wrappers
  • Inexpensive paintbrush
  • Old newspaper

Instructions

      Spread out newspaper on your work table.

      Spread the matte medium, using the paintbrush, on one section of the bucket. Work in sections so your adhesive doesn't dry too quickly.

      Stick the candy wrappers over the matte medium, smoothing as you go.

      Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until all of the bucket is covered with candy wrappers.

      Apply a coat of the matte medium over the candy wrappers. Let it dry overnight or at least 12 hours.
