How to Draw a Cute Monkey
A cute monkey can be used to adorn a notebook. Draw one of these adorable creatures to use as an iron-on design on a t-shirt or to create personalized notebook paper. To achieve the cuteness factor all you need to know how to do is draw ovals, circles, hearts, curves and lines. The drawing may be colored in with bright colors or with more natural shades of brown and tan.

Draw a heart shape in the center of a sheet of paper. In the top two arcs of the heart, draw small black circles. Fill in the circles to make two dark eyes. Towards the bottom of the heart, draw an elongated oval shape to make a nose.

Create a circle starting half-way down the left side of the heart. Draw the circle counter-clockwise until the pencil and the line reach the half-way point of the heart on the right side. Do not finish the circle by drawing within the heart.

Place the pencil on the outer left edge of the circle, parallel with the bottom of the heart. Continue the line, again counter-clockwise and end on the right side.

Form two small ears on the outer circle parallel to the center of the heart. The ears should be shaped like two small ovals. Add a darker inner oval for more detail.

Draw a small curve inside the bottom circle to make the cute monkey smile. To make a more mischievous monkey, make the smile longer on one side of the mouth than the other.

Erase the bottom half of the heart shape on the cute monkey face. Add a long tail or a body if you want an image of the whole monkey.
