How to Find Haunted Ghost Tours in Chicago
One of Chicago's more interesting activities is a haunted ghost tour. While it may sound frightening, the haunted ghost tour is actually an interesting way to hear tales and see historical sights in the beautiful city of Chicago. Unlike many ghost tours found around the United States, one particular tour, Chicago Hauntings, simply shares sightings and stories of the paranormal and gives a historical background as to why these stories exist without all of the theatrics and re-creations. The ghost tour is also a great way to drive around the city, checking out spots that may seem out of the way of your hotel, especially if you are a tourist.

Meet at the designated tour pick-up. The location is 600 North Clark Street near the Ontario intersection right in front of the Rock and Roll McDonald's. The tour bus usually will show up about 15 to 30 minutes before the tour, so don't worry if you get there early and you do not see the pickup spot. The school-style bus is small and black and the inside is decked out in cool Halloween-style decorations.

Listen to the interesting stories the tour guide will share about haunted locations in Chicago. At many stops, like Hull House or the sight of the St. Valentine's Day massacre, tourists are able to get off the bus and do some ghost hunting of their own. You can take pictures and hear additional stories from the tour guide. The tour goes to such spots as the Eastland Disaster site, Iroquois Theater and Death Alley, Harpo Studios, Hull House and the Hancock Building, among many others.

Take many pictures of sites to see if you can spot any paranormal activity. Using a digital camera is a great idea, so that you can check pictures as you take them. Taking a picture of a particular location or object in three separate frames can show any abnormalities that can change from frame to frame.
