Use Online Translator to Translate

If you need help with your language studies, or just have a need to translate something, you may want to consider using an online translator. There are many sites that help you change one language into another. Some offer extra services such as the IM text-to-speech feature. Not all are the same but most will help you get your message across.

Instructions

    • 1

Log on to an online translator such as worldlingo.com or Bablefish.Yahoo.com.

    • 2

Type a word into the “Text Box”. This is the first step to your language transformation. You can also type a phrase, sentence or paragraph into this box. The translator box in these websites can hold quite a bit of text. So whether it is a short translation or a full page you will be able to fit it in.

    • 3

Choose the language that you are writing and the one you are searching for. Do this by choosing from a drop down menu. You will notice that most of these sites offer a large selection of languages to choose from.

    • 4

Click on the “Translate” tab to finish the translation. The result should be a translation of the typed words into the language of your choice. Usually the result is given quickly but sometimes you may need to wait a few moments. Of course the more you give the site to translate the longer it will take.

    • 5

Print your translation by clicking on the “print” tab. This is a nice feature especially if you are trying to learn the language. It helps to print it out for studying purposes.

    • 6

Copy and paste the URL code into an IM box or email when using a texts to speech site such as text-to speech.imtranslator.net. This is a very neat feature that allows your language of any choice to be verbally spoken when sent through email or IM. With all that online sites offers for translations and language manipulation, our world becomes smaller and closer to others.
